Carol has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, focusing on aesthetically led treatments since 2018.  As the director at Opal clinic, client wellbeing and safety is at the heart of what she does! 

Having taught in leading colleges and now within her own private training school, Professional Salon Training Ltd, her career is always progressing.  Continuing personal and professional development is key to a fulfilled career. 

The foundations of a good treatment come from studying an HND in Beauty therapy in 1998 in Glasgow. Since then Carol has continued to study, always eager to stay current and highly regarded in the industry.  Meeting professional standards to practise and teach in the industry.

Shanice is an exceptional facial therapist and clinic coordinator.  The perfection strived for and standards of care by Shanice is like no other.  A  true love for people and skin is the perfect match! 

As well as being an exceptional member of the team Shanice is an exceptional busy mum of 3. Coming to work is a breath of fresh air.

Shanice has always had a passion for biology and how the human body works.  This led Shanice to study an HNC/HND in Applied Biological Science.  Specifically, she enjoyed learning about genetics as her younger brother has Downs' Syndrome as well as other health issues.  

2018 was the start of her Beauty Career which she chose to do to make clients feel their best.  To make a difference in someone and make them feel happier in their own skin. 

Self-confidence is important, when Shanice provides clients with treatment there is true job satisfaction.  “When I see the boost they have had with their own self-confidence it makes me happy.    I have personally struggled with self-confidence, I know how it feels”.
